Cares for children or teens full-time when they can’t live with their biological families.
2. Respite Parent:
Provides short-term care (a few hours to a few days) to give foster parents a break.
3. Kinship Parent:
A relative or close family friend who steps in to care for a child they already know.
4. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate):
A trained volunteer who supports and speaks up for a child’s best interests in court.
